Tyler is an entertainer, host/emcee, hype-guy and speaker. After being invited to perform at TEDx Collingwood in 2017, he was invited back the following year as host. He has also hosted for the local chapter of Dragon’s Den and Pride Weekend at Blue Mountain Village. In 2019, Tyler participated in Speaker Slam, Canada's #1 Inspirational Speaking Competition. His talk entitled, "Sabotaging my Dating Life" went viral amassing over 250,000 views in 48 hours.

Tyler is also a multidisciplinary artist specializing in Spirit Art where he explores the theme of masculinity and the gay male experience.

As a local elementary school teacher, Tyler is a recipient of the 2020 Prime Minister's Award of Teaching Excellence and the 2020 Elementary Teacher's Federation of Ontario's Award for Local Humanitarian. Additionally, Tyler is an EDGEucator and resource consultant for a progressive education company called Moving EDGEucation.

Currently, Tyler is completing a book that is an extension of his TEDx performance, as well as continuing to grow the increasingly popular Dreamwalkers Meditations - a YouTube channel of guided meditations for youth in schools: www.dreamwalkersmeditations.com
