Born and raised in Collingwood, Cassie has spent the last 15 years working at some of the area's best restaurants developing for passion for all things food and drink. Cassie has always been particularly drawn to the cocktail side of the Food & Beverage industry. Attending training seminars and cocktail competitions throughout Canada, USA and Mexico gave her the opportunity to mix travel and the art of bartending together!

In 2019 Cassie decided it was time to branch out and open the cocktail bar of her dreams. Low Down Bar, an Asian inspired cocktail and snack bar was developed and opened in September of that year. You can find Cassie serving food and shaking cocktails on the patio at Low Down this summer!
