Erin Johnson is a Clinical Intake Therapist for Outpatient Mental Health Services at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Erin is typically the first person someone will meet with after being referred to the clinic for a moderate to severe mental illness. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from King's College at Western University and has more than five years' experience working in the hospital and in private practice settings.

Erin's first goal when working with someone is to create an environment where they feel safe, seen, and supported. She has a passion for addressing structural inequalities that create barriers to care and is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. In addition to meeting with new referrals, Erin also provides individual psychotherapy with a focus on building compassionate and effective relationships with ourselves.
